You don’t need a gym to build power! Here’s how!

💡 One Idea

Power isn’t built by equipment.
It’s built by intent.
You don’t need a fancy gym—just quality movement, max intent, and a few smart progressions.
Think jumps, bounds, throws, sprints. It’s about how you move, not what you lift.

🏃 One Practical Example

Drill: Jump Obstacle Course

  • Set up a course with what ever objects you have or cones for your athletes to jump through or over.

  • Change the direction, height of each jump.

  • Change it up to whether it is single or double leg jump and if it is a reactive jump or jump and land.

  • Add races and competitions to drive fun and intent.


    This links power and speed—no expensive equipment needed.

Bonus: Want to build upper body power too? Use med ball throws in the course.

✅ One Action This Week

Pick 3-5 jumps that matches your sport demands—and integrate it into warm-ups or small group work.

2–3 sets. Max intent. And FUN!


Keep it simple. Keep it sharp. Power happens in effort, not volume.
